The classics
  • Val Pusteria cycle path
    … can be enjoyed in full or in stages.
    The first stage stretches over 25.5 km from Brunico to Rio di Pusteria. The second stage covers 33.5 km from Brunico to San Candido, and the final stage runs along the Drava from San Candido to Lienz, a distance of 44 km. The return journey can be conveniently made by train.
  • Cycle tour to the Cascate di Riva
    … offers plenty of refreshment on warm summer days – and not just because of the breeze. Starting from Hotel Montis, the route leads past the charming villages from Brunico through Gais to Campo Tures and the hamlet of Bagni di Salomone. Here, treat yourself to an ice cream at the waterfall bar and then walk to the three impressive waterfalls.

A real gem: to Lago di Braies by bike

Due to its fame, getting there by bike offers some advantages.
This popular mountain lake is a favourite destination in the summer months. However, with good timing, starting early in the morning or late in the afternoon, and using an e-bike, you may often have Lago di Braies (almost) all to yourself. Or at least a part of it.
It’s accessible by bike via several trails – on site, we’ll reveal the best route for you.
